” Dust Free Icons is a marriage of the two universes of artists Séverine Metraz and Eric Ceccarini. The rock’n roll collages of Séverine dress these bodies of naked women, adding irreverence to the treated theme of Religion.Eric magnifies them by capturing moments that seem unreal. The result is iconic photographs where the woman reigns in all her original beauty! “ A selection of unique pieces, each photo is a one – off. 3 sizes available 50×70 cm / 72×110 cm / 110x160cm. Printed on baryte paper.
“Séverine Metraz’s “Woman” is elevated to the rank of anticlerical icon, perhaps a singular paradox? Images of an enticing devotion, sometimes sarcastic and provocative and yet of unmistakable harmony, observers will discover their unique interpretation.
Her collages draw from the pious repertoire of international Gothic imagery, both in the choice of characters and the use of gold, mixed with glossy paper, torn off from pages of magazines. This transgender melting pot combines opposites to suggest reverence to a new humanist and anti-conventional religion.”
